The E-Z Tenon Cutter is easily adjustable to cut 1" up to 2.5" diameter tenons.

No longer do you need to buy several specific sized cutters.  Just adjust the E-Z Tenon Cutter to the size you need, or to fit the forstner bit you already have.

The E-Z Tenon cutter is a single blade cutter made out of

hardened aluminum and steel.  The guide, which inserts into a pre-drilled pilot hole drilled into the end of your log or branch ensures that your tenon is cut perfectly straight.  No wobbling.  No gouged-out tenons like pencil type cutters because you hit a knot while drilling.

Two double-sided cutting blades are included. 

One is mounted and ready to cut, and one spare blade is stored on one of the arms of the cutter.  When one side of a blade gets dull, flip it over and use the other side.

E-Z Tenon Cutter will fit any 1/2" drill.  The E-Z Tenon shaft has a flat side so it will not slip when in your drill chuck.

You simply drill a 3/8" pilot hole into the end of your log or branch to guide the E-Z Tenon Cutter.  A drill bit is included with the cutter so that you can get started right away.  Also included are two hex keys........one to adjust the tenon size, and one to remove, rotate and replace the cutting blade.

 If you have been shopping for tenon cutters, you have probably noticed that most of the pencil sharpener type tenon cutters come in specific sizes, each costing about the same price as just one E-Z Tenon Cutter.  I have used those for years and I still do when I need to cut a smaller tenon, under an inch diameter.  I have never used one of those router-type log tenon cutters, but I believe you have to rotate the log to the cutter.   Logs and branches are heavy and usually not straight.  I just can't see holding and turning a log and getting a straight tenon using one of those jobbers, even if the log is short.   To get a proper fitting in a mortise you need as much contact as possible for gluing.  Humidity changes everything when making log joints and you need wood-on-wood to make a joint that will last a long time.  No gaps.  No gouges.  You need a smooth tenon.  A perfect fit.
