DO YOU NEED A LARGE SLICE OF WOOD TO MAKE YOUR OWN CLOCK?

We have Basswood Slices and Chunks to burn onto, or carve. 

 Large wood slices make beautiful clocks. There is plenty of room to wood-burn, paint, stain, or carve whatever you want your clock to look like, and still let the beautiful growth rings to show. Some of the slices I have are over 100 years old, and the grains are beautiful. Here is one that I made with a wood burned map of the lake where the cabin is. I placed the actual clock off to one side, and instead of adding the numbers 1 through 12, I added N - S - E - W at the noon, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions.
